Inside Sales Representative

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for resourcing new Off-Highway sales in the North East US. Candidates should be highly driven and competitive with B2B sales experience with excellent written and oral communication skills. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Position Duties Summary

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Sales leads vetting
  • Understand customer needs and requirements by researching accounts, identify key players and lead follow-up and sales
  • Work closely with territory sales managers (TSMs) to achieve sales goals and positive dealer relationships
  • Develop strong ties with key customers and accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market
  • Conduct post sales administration
  • CRM Sales administration
  • Prepare for and participate as needed in trade shows
  • Achieve and exceed allocated sales targets
  • Any additional duties assigned by the Sales Manager

Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Degree in Business related field or equivalent combination of experience and education required
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team work and communication skills
  • Clear understanding of customer service and inside sales
  • Proven sales experience in Agricultural and Heavy Equipment markets
  • Must be a resourceful person, with a never give up attitude
  • PC literate, proficient with MS Office and Web Base Systems
  • Ability to generate business and build long-term customer relationships
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence with good listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Superior deal-closing skills
