Inventory Coordinator

Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for executing the delivery of parts to the production floor in a JIT manner. This position is also responsible for production inventory transactions and maintaining inventory accuracy through the cycle count process.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit LDJ’s core values and culture in all aspects of the job.
  • Transfer of inbound freight from Receiving Dock to Warehouse locations.
  • Responsible for use of FIFO material handling. (First In-First Out)
  • Print and complete Production Orders for Warehouse Operations.
  • Reference Production Schedule and monitor daily Production progress to proactively kit parts required for Final Assembly.
  • Delivery of parts to the production floor based on Production Order BOM.
  • Removal of empty bins and dunnage.
  • Performs inventory transactions in Acumatica.
  • Performs cycle counts in designated areas, as assigned.
  • Accountable for inventory accuracy of parts.
  • Baling Cardboard dunnage.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using a computer and data-based systems preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a fork truck license and operate all fork trucks within the plant.
  • Must be capable of working independently.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in math skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Heavy exposure to the plant floor. Physical demands include heavy lifting (50lbs.), bending, and long periods of standing. Must be able to manipulate equipment used in performance of tasks.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an inventory control or process flow of a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • This position does not require any travel

Machinist

Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, this position performs metal fabrication in a production environment that requires a top-quality candidate who is self-motivated with high energy and a team spirit attitude.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle, position, align, cut and form steel.
  • Maneuver/lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work is usually repetitive.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • M/G code programming experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD blueprints required.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and add/subtract fractions.
  • Machining experience required.
  • Press brake experience required.
  • Have a technical aptitude for mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent work ethic with minimum supervision and highly organized.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills that project a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accountability for one’s own work.
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work on feet for a 10-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without restriction.

Education and Experience:

Skilled Welder

Reporting to the Weld Manager, the Skilled Welder performs welding in a production environment that requires a top-quality candidate who is self-motivated with high energy and a team spirit attitude.

  • Production welding on a variety of steel parts or products.
  • Ability to perform a variety of welds in various positions.
